SIGNAL ANALYTICS AND INNOVATION LABORATORY (SAIL)

SAIL is a newly established, independent R&D lab based in Massachusetts, specializing in advanced signal processing, adaptive analytics, and novel sensing systems. The lab focuses on developing deployable, high-performance solutions for national security and defense applications, with emphasis on low-SWaP architectures, contested spectrum environments, and real-time algorithm integration.
About
Priya Atiyolil is the Founder & PI of the Signal Analytics & Innovation Laboratory (SAIL) in Southbridge, Massachusetts, an independent research facility dedicated to signal intelligence, electromagnetic systems, and defense-oriented technologies. She later established Regent Hill Accounting & Bookkeeping, a successful accounting and business consulting firm. In parallel, she co-founded King of Spades Oil & Gas, an investment brokerage based in Florida.
Raised amid hardship and adversity, Priya has confronted and overcome many extraordinary challenges, the kind few imagine and even fewer encounter, across multiple spheres of life. The rigor and inventive discipline honed through those experiences became the driving force that set her apart and propelled her well ahead of her peers.
A confluence of intellect and higher awareness inherited through generations, Priya also founded a nonprofit organization originally registered as the Foreign Devaswom Board with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, now operating as Lokashema Mana. An Advaitin by philosophy, she also writes mystical poetry and short stories, and remains deeply engaged in Dravidology, Iranology, Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations, and Slavic Studies.

Featured Project

Non-Invasive Brainwave Energy Harvesting via Superconductive Electromagnetic Transduction
The described harvester is a compact, briefcase-sized platform featuring a magnesium diboride (MgB₂) superconducting loop antenna, cryogenically maintained below 39 K by an integrated pulse-tube cryocooler. Operating within this ultra-low-temperature regime ensures exceptional electromagnetic sensitivity and minimal system noise across the normal frequency band. To enable stable and precise brainwave acquisition, the device employs multilayer magnetic shielding to suppress ambient interference, ultra-low-noise SQUID-based readout electronics, and differential signal processing pipelines implemented in MATLAB, among other supporting subsystems.

The First Waters (I)
Beneath the waves where my eyes yield blind,
a kingdom waits, unmeasured, & undefined;
its throne is coral, carved of shattered suns,
& its law is the tide that mourns what it becomes.
The Queen of foam holds court in the night,
Her crown is silver, forged of broken light;
She smiles at pearls that chant hymns of kings,
then drowns their echoes in the sea’s dreams.
What care has Ocean for the realms above?
It drinks all grief & swallows every love.
those cities fall & towers rust to sand,
yet still the tide returns to the same land.
Wanderer of air, of heavenly mansion,
the Euphrates slowly dries in your contention,
for soon you know all is but mineral upon the sea,
and every crown dissolves to naught but elusive memory.

Fools' Garden
The one who subdues the raw, unspoken tear
will wander lost, in lust, and in fear;
to find is not for those
who run from what is pure, naked, and ghost.

Sumit
Do you remember the Eighteenth dream,
where dawn and ruin through the rose convened--
That day, our rekindled spirits in twilight wept,
drunk with the rapture's limbic, sweet attire,
& your breath, half heaven’s, half where sorrow slept,
bore me through Paradise, then down into the mire.
The same that hardens hearts, yet makes divine,
that exhausts the soul, yet grants exaltation;
Its road to freedom winds through iron chimes,
& its hollow bells toll in consecration.
Though in future, the fourteen-fold heavens whirl as aerialists,
on Apollo's imperious thumb
& no riches distill but the madness
that is called Love, that is called One--
That Love which leaves an empty glass,
& silts thought beneath what never knew;
It fades into the Uncreate at last,
& sees its vanished self become but You.
The subtle body unwinds quickly and impassioned,
and merges unbridled into all that's imagined.
