SIGNAL ANALYTICS AND INNOVATION LABORATORY (SAIL)

SAIL is a newly established, independent R&D lab based at the WorcLab Incubator in Massachusetts, specializing in novel sensing systems in bioelectromagnetics. The lab focuses on developing deployable, high-performance solutions for national security applications, with emphasis on real-time algorithm integration, ultra-low-signal detection pipelines, and low-SWaP-C embedded architectures.
About
Priya Atiyolil, a bio-RF engineer and mathematician, is the Founder & Principal Investigator of the Signal Analytics & Innovation Laboratory (SAIL), an R&D organization based in Massachusetts hosting 1 doctoral researcher, Zayan Ali, 1 undergraduate student, Krishna Trivedi, and 1 former national security advisor. In parallel, Atiyolil is the Owner and President of Regent Hill Accounting & Bookkeeping, a newly established firm offering contracted CPA services located on 1500 N Main Street in Palmer, Massachusetts (filing number: 001909400, Massachusetts). Beyond accounting, she provides fractional CFO support for one of her clients, LogicSwap, a subsidiary of DCP, Inc., and handles grant writing for the Amherst Mobile Market. She additionally co-founded King of Spades Oil & Gas, an oil investment brokerage headquartered at 777 Brickell Avenue in Miami, Florida (filing number: P25000055158, Florida).
Atiyolil has confronted and transcended an array of extraordinary life challenges, the kind few imagine and even fewer encounter. These include deep poverty during youth, familial turbulence and medical burdens, and a complete recovery from a severe chronic illness (POTS) that resulted in two months of hospitalization and a year of debilitation. She also survived targeted, conspiratorial harassment that culminated in an attempted abduction and coerced-marriage plot. The indomitable spirit and perspicacity forged through these ordeals became the catalytic force that propelled her markedly ahead of her peers.
In 2023, as a yogin, daughter of gifted parents, great-granddaughter of a sannyasin, and generational disciple of Parappur Amma, Atiyolil established a mana under a nonprofit organization (filing number: 001834031, Massachusetts) created to address the absence of sadvidyam across many Hindu temples in the United States. A mana in Malayalam denotes the ancestral dwelling of a Brahmin family or an individual deeply versed in esoterica and mysticism. Her beneficiary count expanded primarily through a private philosophy school and a network of discreet back-end operations through which she offered selective instruction and spiritual work for temples, Christian churches, public figures, and other individuals across seven countries. She follows Advaitam (non-duality), which shapes her openness toward other religious traditions. She also writes mystical poetry and spiritually themed short stories as avocations, and plans to publish an astrological treatise in December.

Significant Research: Convergence; a $1 million National Endowment for the Arts-funded interdisciplinary project (see IMDb) conducted within an NEA Laboratory in the Department of Music and Dance. This senior capstone research endeavor converted real-time heart-rate signals into dynamic musical output for large-scale choreographic performance. See awards attached to this project by clicking on this link.
Separate, partially funded university project (see below): A novel EMF-harvesting system that translates brainwave activity into auditory output from a modest distance using a magnesium-bromide loop antenna. Publication of this work was delayed due to significant personal challenges that have since been resolved.
Employment: RF/Microwave Engineer @ Raytheon Intelligence & Space (Raytheon BBN), Undergraduate Research Assistant @ UMASS Amherst, IT Assistant @ UMASS Bio IT (worked w/ the Department of Sociology in conjunction), Research Assistant @ Smith College
Featured Project

Non-Invasive Brainwave Energy Harvesting via Superconductive Electromagnetic Transduction
The described harvester is a compact, briefcase-sized platform featuring a magnesium diboride (MgB₂) superconducting loop antenna, cryogenically maintained below 39 K by an integrated pulse-tube cryocooler. Operating within this ultra-low-temperature regime ensures exceptional electromagnetic sensitivity and minimal system noise across the normal frequency band. To enable stable and precise brainwave acquisition, the device employs multilayer magnetic shielding to suppress ambient interference, ultra-low-noise SQUID-based readout electronics, and differential signal processing pipelines implemented in MATLAB, among other supporting subsystems.

The First Waters (I)
Beneath the waves and behind the blind,
a kingdom waits, unmeasured, & undefined;
its throne is coral, carved of shattered suns,
& its law is the tide that mourns what it becomes.
The Queen of foam holds court in the night,
Her crown is silver, forged of broken light;
She smiles at pearls that chant hymns of kings,
then drowns their echoes in the sea’s dreams.
What care has Ocean for the realms above?
It drinks all grief & swallows every love.
those cities fall & towers rust to sand,
yet still the tide returns to the same land.
Wanderer of air, of heavenly mansion,
the Euphrates slowly dries in your contention,
for soon you know all is but mineral upon the sea,
and every crown dissolves to naught but memory.

Fools' Garden
The one who subdues the raw, unspoken tear
will wander lost, in lust, and in fear;
to find is not for those
who run from what is pure, naked, and ghost.

Sumit
Do you remember the Eighteenth dream,
where dawn and ruin through a rose convened--
That day, our rekindled spirits in twilight wept,
drunk with the rapture's limbic, sweet attire,
& your breath, half heaven’s, half where sorrow slept,
bore me through Paradise, then down into the mire.
The same that hardens hearts, yet makes divine,
that exhausts the soul, yet grants exaltation;
Its road to freedom winds through iron chimes,
& its hollow bells toll in consecration.
Though in future, the fourteen-fold heavens whirl as aerialists,
on Apollo's imperious thumb
& no riches distill but the madness
that is called Love, that is called One--
That Love which leaves an empty glass,
& silts thought beneath what never knew;
It fades into the Uncreate at last,
& sees its vanished self become but You.
The subtle body unwinds quickly and impassioned,
and merges unbridled into all that's imagined.
